A Butterfly Garden Party

Rachel was such a fun bride to work with! She had a bubbly and delightful personality which showed throughout her event. She wanted her wedding to have the feel of a fresh summer garden, and she worked with Melanie Murphy with BIO to turn 701 into just that! I loved the bright colored vases that were used with the fresh cut flowers; and well, everyone knows how I feel about butterflies! 

Since this was a summer wedding and Rachel wanted a garden feel, we created the perfect menu to fit her garden party! We kept the menu light with lots of fresh ingredients!

Hors D’oeuvres

Our signature “Palmetto” Fruit Tree
“Passed” Mini Charleston Crab Cakes – topped with our delicious Dill & Shallot Sauce
Artisan Cheese Display – Four Year Aged Cheddar, Fontina, Gruyere, Gouda & Blue Cheese
Mini Martini Caprese Salad – with a Balsamic Pipette
Smoked Salmon Lollipops – Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese topped with Dill   
Spinach & Artichoke Tarts – topped with grated parmesan cheese

Dinner Stations
Bacon Wrapped Scallops – topped with Citrus Chipotle Sauce and delicately placed on a miniature bamboo skewer alongside a juicy watermelon ball
Texas Beef Brisket – Served on a Mini French Roll with Crispy Onions, Apple Cinnamon & Bistro Sauce
Sautéed Vegetables – Fresh Squash, Zucchini, Crimini Mushrooms, Red
Onions and Asparagus sautéed with Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinaigrette
