Tuscany Meets the South

Saturday, February 25, 2012 Share

From the moment I met with Arielle & Brian, I knew their event would be beyond perfect! They are a wonderful couple who selected the Lace House, a venue rich in antebellum history, for celebrating their wedding day. They worked with Grant at Something Special Florist to create their awesome floral centerpieces, and I helped them select the perfect linens, napkins and chargers to complete the overall design.

Since Arielle wanted to bring a Tuscany feel to this event, Capital City Catering created a menu around that theme, which included some of the couple’s favorite Italian dishes, as well as, some of their favorite Southern dishes. It was a fun menu that was enjoyed by all; however, I must say that one of the most popular items was the Coffee Encrusted Beef Tenderloin!

It was truly an honor and pleasure working with Arielle, Brian and their family!

Testimonials

quote mark leftCapital City Catering could not have done a more perfect job for our daughter's wedding reception. Actually, they were more than caterers. LeeAnne helped guide me through the process, including helping with other vendors since I was not a local Mom. She worked hand in hand with our florist and the final product was beautiful, delicious and fun! I am still receiving comments on the food and the outstanding presentation, including the "special touches" for the bride and groom. They asked just the right questions to prepare wonderful dishes suited for all of our guests. The Asian bar was especially a success, as it was a totally different concept, and Capital City combined it with the "traditional" to make a perfect event! Thanks to LeeAnne and Jonathan for their wonderful combined talents during this special time for our family. quote mark right
